VISION STATEMENT To be a blessing to the nations by reaching out to the needs of its people, both locally and internationally Background Information The very first assignment that God has given F.I.S.H.E.R.S. Ministries was to go on a mission trip. After seeking God’s will through months of prayer, the then six members of F.I.S.H.E.R.S. Ministries left for the Philippines in May 2002 to minister to their family and friends. They were able to do a number of outreaches such as weekly Bible studies, two orphanage visits, a young adults retreat, food drives for two poor churches, an activity day for the cancer patients at a children’s hospital, and a medical/dental mission.
