There is only one true God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the creator of the universe and everything in it. He is eternal, all powerful, all knowing, and all loving.

Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was sent down here on earth to rescue people from their sins and give them eternal life. He was born of a virgin birth and lived as one hundred percent man and one hundred percent God here on earth. He fulfilled the prophesy when he was crucified on the cross of Calvary as a sacrifice for the atonement of humanity’s sins. Three days later he rose from the dead to show his power over sin, hell, and the grave. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father and acts as our High Priest and God the Father gave the name that is above every name. He will return to earth one day and reign as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Matthew 1:8, 25:31-34, John 3:16, Philippians 2:6-11, Hebrews 2:14-18, 4:14-15

The Holy Spirit indwells those who receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. He guides, teaches, convicts, counsels, comforts, and empowers the believers so that they may live a life of freedom and fullness in Christ.

John 14:16-17, 16:7-13, 1 Corinthians 2:10-12, Acts 1:8

The Bible (Old and New Testament) is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. The Bible is the ultimate truth, is infallible and is God’s word.

2 Timothy 3:16, John 1:1, 2 Peter 1:20-21

God created human beings from His own perfect image and is designed to be in a relationship with him. Unfortunately, this relationship has been broken when mankind disobeyed God – this is called sin. Today, people suffer the consequences of their disobedience both physically and spiritually. The only way people can be reconciled with God again is through believing and receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

Genesis 1:27, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23, John 1:12, Matthew 15:19-20

Salvation from eternal death can only be found in Jesus Christ. This is a free gift from God but we must accept it. It is through the repentance of sins and acknowledging Jesus Christ as one’s personal Lord and Saviour that one is brought back to the lasting relationship with Him. Jesus is his/her forgiver, justifier, and sanctifier. The Holy Spirit indwells in the person who is saved and becomes his/her guide throughout his/her Christian life. Christians then act out their faith by doing good deeds to others.

Acts 4:12, John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 8:37-39, Acts 1:8

Doing ministry results from the changed life that a person experiences due to his/her Salvation. This is an act of obedience towards God. Christians do good deeds because they are saved, not to be saved.

James 2:17, Matthew 5:16, Ephesians 8-10

God has put eternity in man’s heart, therefore all of us will live forever, whether it’s an eternity with God in Heaven for those who received his free gift of Salvation, or an eternity of conscious torment in Hell. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

Ecclesiastes 3:11, Romans 6:23, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
