I became a Christian at the age of six through watching
a Jesus film. My mom explained that JESUS died on the cross for my sins and that
He wants to be my forever friend. I then prayed to accept Him as my personal
Lord and Savior. The first few years of being a Christian was quite hard because
I faced persecution from relatives and friends as a child. But God reminded me
of what He faced when He died for me.
I grew up going to church, Sunday school and attending
summer programs for kids. I love learning truths about God’s love and how He
uses ordinary people like David, Abraham, Noah and Mary to do something
supernatural in their lives. Coming to Canada opened a lot of opportunities for
me: I was able to volunteer in ESL ministry, power point, VBS, kid’s church, and
in the youth group. God has also allowed me to go on a mission trip with a group
of friends, lead a weekly Bible study group for young adults, and be a part of
an amazing ministry.
I am grateful and blessed for all that God has done in my
life. I love the Lord with all my heart, my mind, my soul and my strength. My
desire is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to others just as others have
done for me. My greatest longing is to serve the Lord and to magnify His
greatness all the days of my life.
